OUR MISSION
Reconéctate is a family hula hoop, yoga, and wellness festival with focus on connection and communion with nature.
Our mission is to create the space for participants to explore, learn, play and discover new ways to live a healthier, more conscious and happier life.

Activities include:
Yoga, hula hooping, HoopYogini™, yoga and mindfulness at your desk, cacao ceremony, meditation, SUP, adventure walk in the forest, DIY workshops with essential oils, nutrition and a program for children.

DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT
We intend to create a space for all participants to feel inspired to DISCONNECT - even if just for a moment - from the outside world, the technology, the noise, the obligations and busy lives schedules and RECONNECT with their inside world: their bodies, their mind, their spirits.

We believe that this is something that happens naturally when you immerse in nature and experience authentic connections with people.
​
This is why we fell in love with the area around Laguna de Hule in Costa Rica since the first moment we saw a picture of it.
​
An area of spectacular beauty and limited access to the internet and social media.
GIVE BACK
​
Besides contributing to the economical development of the small community of Bosque Alegre during the days of the festival, to the conscious use and protection of Bosque Alegre Wildlife Refuge and promoting the area and its services as a beautiful option for family day trips and weekends, RECONÉCTATE contributes to the efforts of the White Hawk Foundation to protect and preserve the Osa Península in Costa Rica with its initiative White Hawk Foundation Kids & Teens and our own fitness & wellness movement in schools throughout the country.

Every donation received goes in equal parts to the organization of Reconéctate, the White Hawk Foundation Kids & Teens and our own fitness & wellness program.
​

VOLUNTEERS
Part of our mission is to make the participation to the festival accessible to to any costa rican that might feel inspired to attend. Without the help and contribution from volunteers and partner this wouldn't be possible.

OUR LOCATION
RECONÉCTATE 2018 will take place around Laguna de Hule, Mirador, restaurant and camping site Bosque Alegre. All located within The National Wildlife Refuge of Bosque Alegre.
8 Km from Cariblanco community and , 11 Km norht of Poás Volcano.
You get there via the highway towards Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, passing by Varablanca.
From San José: 1.5 hours drive.
